"Come and join us for safe and happy creative play!” 

The children arrive at playgroup form 9.15am onwards and take part in free play where they can choose what to play with from all the activities available.

                                                                                                                            At around 10am we all sit down and have milk or water to drink and a healthy snack.  Afterwards the children can continue with free play and we also have a creative session where the children, usually in groups of 4 or 5, can sit with a member of staff and enjoy making something using, glue, paper, glitter and lots of imagination. 

We encourage all the children to make

something.

They continue to play and then at around 11.15am we have "circle time" when we sit together and talk about topical issues and any news the children wish to share, such as holidays, birthdays, pets and places they have recently visited, read a story and have a sing along. 

Then it is "home time" and the children are collected at 11.45am.
